When you add a device, Sephona asks for a type. Pick the one that matches how the hardware is used. The type is set on Add New Device with the pairing code, licence, store, and name.
The types
- Kiosk — a standard self-service ordering screen. Touch only, unless you also turn Voice AI on for that device.
- Voice Kiosk — a kiosk you intend to run with Voice AI. Voice still needs a Plus or Premium licence and the Voice AI toggle on the device. Alfred upsells are a separate toggle (Enable AI Upsells (Alfred)).
- Command Center — a back-of-house or crew screen, not a customer order kiosk.
After you add it
The pairing code cannot be edited later. Use Device Settings for integrations (for example a Linkly pin pad), splash screens, and per-device AI toggles.
Staff can reboot a device from Devices Overview. They cannot add a new one.
