Categories are the top-level groups on the kiosk (for example Burgers or Drinks). They belong to a Data catalogue. Add the Data record first, then the categories, then products.
Add a category
- Sign in at sephona.sodaclick.com.
- Open Menu Management → Categories (the page heading is Category Settings).
- Click Add Category.
- Choose the Data catalogue this category belongs to.
- Give the category the name customers should see on the kiosk, then save.
Sub categories
Use Menu Management → Sub Category when you need a second level under a category. Products still live under Products, and each product is assigned a category (and Data) when you create it.
After you save
Paired kiosks refresh the catalogue in the background. You do not reboot screens after a menu change.
