An App is the kiosk experience a store boots: splash screen, colours, layout, and pages. The menu still comes from Data. The app is the skin and flow.
Every store has a Default App. That field is required. Helper text on Store Settings: every device in this store will run this app, and changing the default updates all kiosks instantly.
See your apps
- Sign in at sephona.sodaclick.com.
- Open Apps in the sidebar.
You get a list with App ID, App Name, Created On, and Type (usually kiosk). Add New App starts a new one. The row menu is Assign App, Edit App, and Delete Apps.
Set it as the store default
From Apps:
- Open the app's row menu and click Assign App.
- The modal is Set as Store Default. Select the stores that should use this app.
- Continue. Kiosks in those stores switch to this app.
From the store:
- Go to Stores → Store Overview, row menu Store Settings.
- On General, set Default App (for example a kiosk app by name).
- Save Changes. You also set Data (labelled Select a Dataset), Eat In / Take Away, surcharge, and kiosk languages here.
Edit App opens the template editor (splash, order type, home, product pages). Use that to change branding. Use Default App to choose which branded app a location runs.
