1. Installing Chrome OS Flex:

Download Chrome OS Flex: Go to the Chrome OS Flex website and download the latest version.

Prepare a USB Drive: Use a USB drive with at least 8GB space. Insert it into a computer and use a tool like "Balena Etcher" or "Chromebook Recovery Utility" to flash the Chrome OS Flex image onto the USB drive.

Install on Device: Insert the USB drive into the computer intended for Chrome OS Flex. Boot from the USB and follow on-screen instructions to install.

If you have a chrome OS Flex key you can use it without any setup
2. Setting Up Chrome Enterprise:

Enroll Device: Once Chrome OS Flex is set up, you'll need to enroll the device into your Chrome Enterprise domain. Boot up the device, and when you see the initial welcome screen, press
Ctrl + Alt + E
to go to enterprise enrollment. Enter the administrator account details. -
Chrome Enterprise Management: Sign in to the Google Admin console with an admin account (not a personal one). Here, you can manage all aspects of Chrome devices in your organization.
3. Running in Kiosk Mode with the Sodaclick PWA:

Set Up Kiosk Mode:
- Sign in to your Google Admin console.
- Go to
Menu > Devices > Chrome > Apps & extensions > Kiosks
. - Here, you can install the app by URL. Next to your PWA, select "Auto-launch".

Configure settings:

Go to
Menu > Devices > Chrome > Setting > Device
. - Set the nessesary settings. The most important one is
Display Settings
make sure it is set to the right resolution.

Reboot the Device: Once everything is set up, reboot your Chrome device. It should automatically start in kiosk mode, launching directly into your PWA.
Remember to periodically test and update your settings to ensure optimal performance and security for users interacting with the kiosk. This setup transforms the device into a dedicated station for your PWA.
